Erwin Krongold was a photographer born in Brno, Czechoslovakia on 4 August 1903. He is known to have worked in the UK and Israel in the post-war years. He took photos of British ORT courses in London in 1946 [see images] and was based at 211 Great Portland Street at the time. In 1948 his studio was listed at 9 Marlborough House, Osnaburgh Street, London. He was also active in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1950.

Krongold passed away in London in 1952.
