ORT Archive documents relating to Hungary.

ORT worked in Hungary since the late 1930s, operating well into 1944. It reopened in 1945 and operated until 1949. The ORT online archive holds one letter from 1938. More information on activities in Hungary can be found in the 1946-1950 reports submitted to World ORT's governing bodies. These can be found under World ORT. Our photo galleries include more from ORT Hungary and a brief history of ORT's activities in the country is available here.

The letter deals with development problems in [ORT] Hungary. It mentions different training courses: cosmetics, poultry, ladies' clothing, and others. Urges ORT Paris to write directly to Dr Markus, the President of ORT Hungary, to ensure that the work is coordinated.
