ORT Archive documents relating to Belgium.
ORT’s activities in Belgium began in 1946 with vocational courses for liberated Belgian Jews and Holocaust survivors – adults and children. These continued until the 1960s. The ORT online archive holds two documents relating to these activities. More information on ORT's programme in Belgium can be found in the 1946-1987 reports submitted to World ORT's governing bodies and in the World ORT Report (formerly the ORT Yearbook). These can be found under World ORT. Our photo galleries include more from ORT Belgium and a brief history of ORT's activities in the country is available here.
