ORT Archive documents relating to Romania.

ORT worked in Romania since the 1920s, supporting vocational schools, courses, shops and internships. The programme ended in 1949, when the government liquidated ORT’s activities. The ORT online archive holds correspondence, reports and publicity material from the 1920s and 30s. More information on activities in Romania can be found in the 1935-1949 reports submitted to World ORT's governing bodies. These can be found under World ORT. Our photo galleries include more from Romania and a brief history of ORT's activities in the country is available here.
